According to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, IG Horowitz will have his report completed in the next couple weeks.
The Inspector General released a scathing report on former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe in mid-April.
The report by the Office of Inspector General criticized McCabe for “lack of candor” regarding his disclosure to Wall Street Journal reporters before the 2016 election.
McCabe lied at least three times under oath, he lied to the Inspector General and lied to James Comey.
As a result of these investigations and reports, Andrew McCabe has been criminally referred to the Justice Department twice.
Sources tell TIME Magazine, Comey faces a punishing report from Inspector General Michael Horowitz.
Inspector General Horowitz opened a separate investigation into James Comey on April 20th over classified information stemming from his memo leaks.
On Wednesday, James Gagliano, a retired FBI agent who left the bureau in 2015 said buckle up because the IG report will be very damning. In fact, his sources are saying “it’s worse than expected.”
James Gagliano tweeted: Sources with knowledge of the impending DOJ Inspector General Report confirm that it will be a fairly damning indictment of FBI’s seventh floor during the Comey era.
“It’s worse than expected,” seems to be the consistent theme …
