Pro-lifers win permission to paint 'Black Preborn Lives Matter' on D.C. street

Pro-life message comes after protesters paint 'Defund the Police' on 16th Street

Soon “Black Lives Matter” and “Defund the Police” won’t be the only messages painted in bold yellow letters on the streets of Washington, D.C. Pro-life groups led by Students for Life of America and the Frederick Douglass Foundation are scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday to paint “Black Preborn Lives Matter” in front of the Planned Parenthood clinic on the 1200 block of 4th Street NE.

This isn’t unauthorized guerilla art. The groups obtained a permit for the street-painting from the Metropolitan Police Department, according to SLA spokesperson Kristi Hamrick.
